Kruger / Sabi Sands
The Kruger National Park and surrounding locations offer probably the best game viewing in South Africa. In particular the Sabi Sands area, where game can be found almost around every corner thanks to two perennial rivers.
Explore the Kruger National Park on a self-drive safari or take advantage of the excellent guiding at one of the many stunning lodges and private game reserves designed to pamper. Guests can also take guided walks on foot (from age 10) and take sleep-overs in the heart of the African Bush.
The Panorama Route offers a scenic route with breathtaking views along the Eastern slopes of this part of the escarpment including ’God’s Window’ offering an unforgettable outlook. Here you also find the world’s third largest and biggest ‘green’ canyon, the Blyde River Canyon.
In addition there are attractions such as the astonishing Bourke’s Luck Potholes and three rondawels. Visits the quaint towns of Pilgrim’s Rest, a living museum dating back to the hey days of the Gold Rush, as well as Sabie, Graskop, Ohrigstad and Hazyview.
