Carl Visser, the ‘Manager’ at Dwyka was just the most perfect host and Rudi who tooks us round the safari drives was perhaps the best you could wish for, knowledgeable on almost everything that grew, flowered and lived in Sanbona, what a team!

Sanbona was really lovely, the hotel, facilities and loation were heavenly. We had a great night but the babysitting could have been more organised for our 1 year old. Also on our departure we had a burst tyre from the track so advise the 4 × 4 scheduled transfers.

We did not have a clue about the difference in quality of the many game reservices, but Gondwana, selected for us by Bushbaby, was perfect for our needs. We had a great view of the Reserve from our room, a very knowledgeable and friendly ranger (fantastic with the kids) and the quality of accommodation and service was way beyond what we were expecting.
